Frequently Asked Questions
|
Q: How do you MAKE marshmallows? Do you, like, melt down store-bought marshmallows and then do stuff to them?
A: No, we don't melt down ready-made marshmallows; we make 'em from scratch, by hand. Marshmallows have 7 basic ingredients: water, sugar, corn syrup, gelatin, heat, air and love. That's
all we're saying.
Q: How can I get my hands on some of your products?
A: The best way is to check out our website. We produce about once a month from September through June (heat and humidity do bad things to marshmallow, so we don't make them during
July and August). We gear our production mostly around holidays and other events (Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Dads/Grads/Teacher Gifts). We'll always post our latest
order form on our site; you can download it and mail us your order and payment, and we'll ship your order right to your door.
Q: Can't I buy them at any stores?
A: At the moment, the Dessert Deli at Maple and North Forest carries our products occasionally - but the only other way to get them at the moment is through mail order. We'll announce our latest
production on our website, and you can download an order form to mail in.
Q: Do your products have an expiration date?
A: As with any freshly made confection, they are better when eaten within a week or two of purchase. We've heard from lots of customers that they keep really well in the freezer when they are
tightly wrapped.
Q: How many flavors do you make?
A: Loads and loads. We sell Classic and Peanut Butter S'mores all the time, but we change up the other flavors with the seasons.
